With A Nightmarish Prelude

The adventure began in the unassuming safety of the tavern, where the players gathered, unaware of the horrors awaiting them. What began as a simple meeting of adventurers quickly spiraled into a chilling call to action. With ominous warnings and cryptic clues, they were compelled to venture toward the infamous gates of Hill House.

In real life, the players experienced an unexpected twist of their own. What seemed like an ordinary start soon turned sinister. They were guided from the tavern into a pitch-black holding cell—my humble laundry room—a transition designed to unsettle and immerse. With no warning, they were scuttled into total darkness, save for two menacing, dimly lit eyes that glared down from the void. These faint lights served only one purpose: to rob them of sight and heighten their unease.

As silence gripped the room, the story began. A professional voiceover narration wove the tale of Hill House, and a projection screen came to life. The shroud of mystery lifted, revealing the massive, 3D-printed Hill House mansion, its silhouette stark against the glow of a rising moon. In that moment, the players stood at the threshold of the macabre, their fates intertwined with the cursed halls of Hill House.

From the moment the game began, the players were immersed in the haunting world of Hill House—a place where shadows whisper, secrets linger, and survival is never guaranteed.
